How we verify coverage

A tool shows ✓ Supported only when one of these confirms it for that exact vehicle and job:

  1. The maker's official coverage list: we record the URL, tool software version, and the date we checked.
  2. A hands-on test in a working bay, labeled owner-tested.

Community reports from the submit form are reviewed before they appear and are labeled as community reports. Everything else is ? Unknown. Unknown is not a "no".

Maker coverage lists change with software updates and are published "for reference only." Always confirm against your tool's current software before buying or quoting a job.

Affiliate disclosure

ScanToolMatch may earn a commission from qualifying purchases made through links on this site, including as an Amazon Associate. Sponsored placements are always labeled "Sponsored." Money never changes a coverage status, and sponsors cannot buy a "Supported" badge.
